Sharp TVs are sold here under the Aquos name, from older LC models to newer 4K sets with Android TV and Google TV. If your Sharp shows no picture, has lines on the screen or can't load its smart system, this page explains what's most likely wrong and how we fix it.

Common Sharp TV faults
Dark or no picture, but you can hear sound
When the sound works but the screen is black or barely lit, the problem is almost always the LED backlight strips. We open the TV, replace all the strips and put the original panel back.
Lines, stripes or a garbled picture
Thin vertical lines or a colourful, unreadable picture point to the T-con board, the panel cable or the panel itself. Diagnostics separate these cases, because a panel fault is far more expensive.
Won't turn on, or only after several tries
The TV stays silent, or only comes on after several presses of the button. The cause is usually the power board and less often the main board. We repair or replace the faulty part and test the TV under load.
The smart system misbehaves
A forgotten Wi-Fi password, apps that won't work or a TV that hangs while loading the system are usually solved with a reset and an update. If the problem is in the hardware, we'll tell you what needs replacing.
Where to find the Sharp model number
Look for the model number on the label on the back of the TV or in the menu, under TV information. Example: 50FN… — 50 is the screen size in inches and FN is the series. Older Sharp models have an LC prefix before the size, for example LC-40…, where 40 is again the screen size.
FAQ — Sharp service
Do you repair older Sharp Aquos TVs?
Yes. We repair older LC models as well as the newer Aquos ranges. With older models we first check that parts are available and that the repair makes sense, and only then propose a solution.
How can I tell whether it's the Sharp panel or the backlight?
Turn the TV on and shine a torch close to the screen. If you can make out the picture, the panel is probably fine and the fault is in the LED strips; if you can't see anything even then, it needs diagnosing. Either way, the calculator above shows an indicative price.
How long does a TV repair take?
Most faults are fixed within 1 to 3 working days. When a part has to be ordered from outside Serbia (e.g. a screen, mainboard or LED strips for less common models), the repair can take 5 to 15 days — in that case we offer you a loan TV to use until the repair is finished.
Do you give a warranty on repairs?
Yes, every repair comes with a warranty of at least 12 months, covering both the installed part and the labour.
Do you make home visits?
Yes! A call-out within Belgrade (up to a 10 km radius) costs 2,500 RSD; fault diagnostics are not included in this price. Only minor work can be done on site (resetting the device, software updates, setting it up...).
How much does diagnostics cost?
Diagnostics are free if you go ahead with the repair. If you decide against the repair, diagnostics cost 1,500 RSD, paid in advance when you drop off the device. If you decline the repair, you don't have to collect the device — if you wish, we can send it for free recycling.
