Vivax TV repair

Vivax is a Croatian brand from the M SAN Group, and its TVs are a common sight here in flats, weekend houses and as the second TV at home. We repair both basic LED models and smart Vivax TVs running Android TV, whether they were bought in Serbia or elsewhere in the region.

Common Vivax TV faults

Power board: won't start or shuts off after a few minutes

The TV shows no sign of life, or comes on and then cuts out once it warms up. That points to the power board, where capacitors often fail. When possible we repair the board itself rather than replacing it.

No picture, but sound

On Vivax LED TVs this symptom usually means burnt-out LED strips. We replace all strips at once, because when one goes, the rest are usually not far behind.

Android TV slow or stuck

A system that loads slowly, apps that close on their own or a TV stuck on the home screen are handled with a factory reset and a fresh software install — and only if that fails, a main board replacement.

Where to find the Vivax model number

The label with the model number is on the back of the cabinet. In a Vivax model code, look for the two-digit number — that's the screen size in inches (32, 43, 50, 55…), while the letters and numbers around it indicate the series and features. On Android models it's also shown in the menu, under system information.

FAQ — Vivax service

Can you get parts for Vivax TVs?

For the most common faults — LED strips, power boards and main boards — we can usually source parts without trouble. To check the exact part, send us the model number from the label or type it into the search at the top of the page.

My Vivax is a few years old. Is it worth repairing?

It depends on the fault and the screen size. Strips, the power board and software are usually worth fixing; if the panel is damaged, a new TV is often the more sensible choice for smaller sizes. Check the indicative price in the calculator above, and after diagnostics we'll give you an honest recommendation.

How long does a TV repair take?

Most faults are fixed within 1 to 3 working days. When a part has to be ordered from outside Serbia (e.g. a screen, mainboard or LED strips for less common models), the repair can take 5 to 15 days — in that case we offer you a loan TV to use until the repair is finished.

Do you give a warranty on repairs?

Yes, every repair comes with a warranty of at least 12 months, covering both the installed part and the labour.

Do you make home visits?

Yes! A call-out within Belgrade (up to a 10 km radius) costs 2,500 RSD; fault diagnostics are not included in this price. Only minor work can be done on site (resetting the device, software updates, setting it up...).

How much does diagnostics cost?

Diagnostics are free if you go ahead with the repair. If you decide against the repair, diagnostics cost 1,500 RSD, paid in advance when you drop off the device. If you decline the repair, you don't have to collect the device — if you wish, we can send it for free recycling.
