Samsung TV repair

We repair Samsung TVs of every generation — from older LED models to Crystal UHD, QLED, Neo QLED, OLED and The Frame. The Samsung faults we see most are no picture, lines on the screen and TVs that switch themselves off, and most of them are fixed by replacing a single part, not the screen.

Common Samsung TV faults

Sound but no picture

On Samsung LED and Crystal UHD models this usually means the LED backlight strips have failed. If you shine a torch at the screen and can make out the picture, the panel is fine — only the strips are replaced, as a full set so the fault doesn't come back.

Turns itself on and off

The TV clicks, cycles on and off or the red light blinks. The cause is usually the power board or, less often, the main board. Before replacing a part we also check the software, since an update solves some of these cases.

Lines or stripes on the screen

Vertical or horizontal lines can come from the T-con board, the panel cable or the panel itself. Diagnostics tell us which one it is, because the price difference is large.

Smart TV, apps and Wi-Fi

A slow Tizen system, apps that won't open or a lost Wi-Fi connection are often fixed with a reset and a software update. On models with a One Connect box we also check the box and its cable, because a fault there looks like a TV fault.

Where to find the Samsung model number

The model number is on the label on the back of the TV and in the menu: Settings → Support → About This TV. Example: UE43AU7092 — UE means a Samsung LED TV for Europe (QE is QLED), 43 is the screen size in inches, AU stands for 2021 and 7092 is the series.

FAQ — Samsung service

Is it worth replacing the LED strips on a Samsung TV?

In most cases, yes — new strips cost a fraction of a new TV and you keep the same screen. See the indicative price for your screen size in the calculator above; if the TV is old or the panel is damaged too, we'll tell you honestly that the repair isn't worth it.

Do you repair Samsung QLED and OLED TVs?

Yes. We repair QLED, Neo QLED and OLED models as well as The Frame. Parts for these models cost more, so the exact model number matters — send it to us or type it into the search at the top of the page.

How long does a TV repair take?

Most faults are fixed within 1 to 3 working days. When a part has to be ordered from outside Serbia (e.g. a screen, mainboard or LED strips for less common models), the repair can take 5 to 15 days — in that case we offer you a loan TV to use until the repair is finished.

Do you give a warranty on repairs?

Yes, every repair comes with a warranty of at least 12 months, covering both the installed part and the labour.

Do you make home visits?

Yes! A call-out within Belgrade (up to a 10 km radius) costs 2,500 RSD; fault diagnostics are not included in this price. Only minor work can be done on site (resetting the device, software updates, setting it up...).

How much does diagnostics cost?

Diagnostics are free if you go ahead with the repair. If you decide against the repair, diagnostics cost 1,500 RSD, paid in advance when you drop off the device. If you decline the repair, you don't have to collect the device — if you wish, we can send it for free recycling.
