TCL TV repair
TCL offers a big screen for a reasonable price, and as with other affordable TVs, the parts that most often fail are the LED strips and the power supply. We repair TCL LED models from the P series and QLED and Mini LED TVs from the C series, running Android TV or Google TV. Before every repair we assess whether it's worth it, because on cheaper models that isn't always the case.

Common TCL TV faults
Screen stays black or barely lit
On TCL LED TVs the most common fault is burnt-out LED strips. The symptom is sound without a picture, or a picture that only shows when you shine a torch at it. We replace the whole set of strips, since the LEDs wear evenly.
Won't turn on, or only after several tries
If the TV doesn't respond or only comes on after several presses of the remote, we check the power supply. On some models the power supply and main board share one board, so they're replaced together.
Google TV lags or hangs at start-up
A slow system, freezing on the logo or apps that close by themselves — we try an update and a factory reset first. If the main board memory is damaged, the board is reprogrammed or replaced.
Mini LED: dark zones or uneven picture
On Mini LED models with local dimming, a fault in one part of the backlight shows up as dark areas or bands. We establish whether the backlight or its driver has failed and replace only the faulty part.
Where to find the TCL model number
The model number is on the label at the back and, on Google TV models, in the menu too: Settings → System → About. Example: 55C805 — 55 is the screen size in inches and C805 is the series; the C series are QLED and Mini LED models, while the P series (e.g. 55P755) are standard 4K LED TVs.
FAQ — TCL service
Is a TCL TV worth repairing?
For larger screens and the better series, usually yes, especially when it's the backlight or power supply. On smaller and older models the repair can sometimes cost close to a new TV — check the indicative price in the calculator, and after diagnostics we'll tell you which makes more sense.
What if my TCL TV is out of the retailer's warranty?
Then we repair it. Repairs we carry out come with a warranty of at least 12 months.
How long does a TV repair take?
Most faults are fixed within 1 to 3 working days. When a part has to be ordered from outside Serbia (e.g. a screen, mainboard or LED strips for less common models), the repair can take 5 to 15 days — in that case we offer you a loan TV to use until the repair is finished.
Do you give a warranty on repairs?
Yes, every repair comes with a warranty of at least 12 months, covering both the installed part and the labour.
Do you make home visits?
Yes! A call-out within Belgrade (up to a 10 km radius) costs 2,500 RSD; fault diagnostics are not included in this price. Only minor work can be done on site (resetting the device, software updates, setting it up...).
How much does diagnostics cost?
Diagnostics are free if you go ahead with the repair. If you decide against the repair, diagnostics cost 1,500 RSD, paid in advance when you drop off the device. If you decline the repair, you don't have to collect the device — if you wish, we can send it for free recycling.
