Tesla TV repair

Tesla TVs (made by the regional brand Tesla Global, not the car company) are very common in Serbia, so they're a regular sight on our bench — from basic HD models to 4K Android TV and Google TV versions. This page is for owners whose Tesla has lost its picture, hangs on the logo or won't connect to the internet.

Common Tesla TV faults

Stuck on the Tesla logo

The TV powers up, shows the logo and stops there or keeps rebooting. This is usually corrupted software or a failing memory chip on the main board. We start by reinstalling the firmware and only replace the board if that doesn't help.

Sound works, screen stays black

When you can hear audio but see nothing, the LED backlight strips have failed on most models. We replace the whole set of strips and you keep the original screen.

Won't turn on, no standby light

If the TV ignores both the remote and the button and the standby light is off, the power board is the first suspect. We check the fuse and the components on the board before suggesting a full board replacement.

Google TV, apps and the remote

Apps that crash, a lost Google account or a remote that ignores voice commands are usually sorted with a reset and re-pairing the remote. If the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module has failed, we replace the module.

Where to find the Tesla model number

You'll find the model number on the label on the back of the TV; on Android and Google TV models it's also in Settings → System → About. The code starts with the screen size: in 43S635… the 43 is the size in inches and S635 is the series. The letters E, Q or M in place of S mark other series in the same size.

FAQ — Tesla service

Is it worth repairing a budget Tesla TV?

Often it is, because faults like LED strips, the power board or software are fairly cheap to fix compared with a new TV. If the repair would cost close to a new set — for example because the panel is cracked — we'll tell you before doing any work.

Is this a service for Tesla cars?

No. We're a TV repair service, and this page is about TVs from Tesla Global, a regional brand sold in Serbia and neighbouring countries. We repair all their ranges, from HD to 4K models.

How long does a TV repair take?

Most faults are fixed within 1 to 3 working days. When a part has to be ordered from outside Serbia (e.g. a screen, mainboard or LED strips for less common models), the repair can take 5 to 15 days — in that case we offer you a loan TV to use until the repair is finished.

Do you give a warranty on repairs?

Yes, every repair comes with a warranty of at least 12 months, covering both the installed part and the labour.

Do you make home visits?

Yes! A call-out within Belgrade (up to a 10 km radius) costs 2,500 RSD; fault diagnostics are not included in this price. Only minor work can be done on site (resetting the device, software updates, setting it up...).

How much does diagnostics cost?

Diagnostics are free if you go ahead with the repair. If you decide against the repair, diagnostics cost 1,500 RSD, paid in advance when you drop off the device. If you decline the repair, you don't have to collect the device — if you wish, we can send it for free recycling.
